OUR PRODUCTS

We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, specifications and prices displayed on our website are accurate.

Colours and appearance may vary slightly depending on your device or screen settings.

Product sizing information is provided to help you select the most appropriate size. If you are unsure about sizing or fit, please contact us before ordering and we will be happy to help.

ORDERS

When you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation by email.

We reserve the right not to accept or fulfil an order where, for example:

• a product is unavailable;
• there is an obvious error in the price or product information;
• we are unable to obtain authorisation for payment; or
• we reasonably suspect fraudulent or unlawful activity.

If we are unable to fulfil an order after payment has been taken, we will contact you and arrange an appropriate refund.

PRICES & PAYMENT

Prices displayed on our website are shown in pounds sterling (£).

Any applicable taxes will be included or shown as appropriate.

Available payment methods will be displayed during checkout.

Payment must be authorised before an order can be processed.

PRODUCT AVAILABILITY

Product availability can change quickly.

Where a product is available to order but is not currently in stock, the expected lead time will be shown or communicated where possible.

Lead times for backordered, made-to-order or supplier-dispatched products are estimates and may vary.

If there is a significant delay affecting your order, we will contact you where appropriate.

DELIVERY

Available delivery methods, charges and any relevant estimated delivery times are displayed during checkout or on our Delivery & Returns page.

Delivery times are estimates unless we have expressly agreed otherwise with you.

Some larger products, including certain treadmills and scooters, may be dispatched directly from the manufacturer or supplier and may have different delivery arrangements.

Unless otherwise agreed, goods will be delivered without undue delay and within the period required by applicable consumer law. Current UK distance-selling guidance states that goods should generally be delivered within 30 days unless another timeframe has been agreed. 

Please ensure that the delivery information supplied with your order is complete and accurate.

CANCELLING AN ONLINE ORDER

For most goods purchased online, consumers have a legal right to change their mind.

You normally have 14 days from the day you receive your goods to tell us that you wish to cancel your order.

After telling us that you wish to cancel, you normally have a further 14 days to return the goods.

You do not need to provide a reason for cancelling.

To tell us that you wish to cancel, contact sales@sportypaws.co.uk and provide sufficient information for us to identify your order.

Certain products are excluded from the statutory right to cancel, including goods that have been made to your specifications or clearly personalised.

RETURNS FOLLOWING A CHANGE OF MIND

You may inspect and try an item in the same way that you reasonably could in a shop.

If you decide to return it, please take reasonable care of the product while it is in your possession.

Harnesses and other equipment should be returned clean and, where applicable, with their labels and packaging.

We may make an appropriate deduction from a refund if the value of the goods has been reduced because they have been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and function. 

Unless we have agreed otherwise or the item is faulty, you are responsible for the cost of returning unwanted goods to us.

We recommend using an appropriate tracked or insured service for returned items.

Please contact us before returning an item so that we can provide the current return instructions and address.

REFUNDS

Where you exercise your statutory right to cancel, we will refund the amount due in accordance with applicable consumer law.

This includes the price paid for the returned goods and the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option where an outbound delivery charge was paid.

If you selected a more expensive delivery method, such as an enhanced or express service, we are not required to refund the additional cost above our standard delivery option.

Refunds will normally be made using the original payment method and within the applicable statutory timeframe.

EXCHANGES

If you would like to exchange an item for another size or product, please contact us.

Where an exchange is requested simply because you have changed your mind or require a different size, you may be responsible for the cost of returning the original item and sending the replacement.

This does not affect your rights where goods are faulty, damaged or not as described.

CUSTOM & MADE-TO-ORDER PRODUCTS

Some Sporty Paws products may be manufactured, altered or ordered specifically for an individual customer.

Where an item is genuinely made to your specifications or clearly personalised, the normal statutory change-of-mind cancellation right may not apply.

Where this applies, we will make this clear before purchase where appropriate.

This exclusion does not affect your statutory rights if a custom or made-to-order product is faulty, damaged or not as described.

FAULTY, DAMAGED OR INCORRECT GOODS

Goods supplied by Sporty Paws must meet the standards required by UK consumer law, including being of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose where applicable and as described.

If you believe an item is faulty, damaged or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible at sales@sportypaws.co.uk with your order details and information about the problem.

Your legal rights regarding faulty goods are separate from the change-of-mind returns policy above. The Consumer Rights Act provides remedies including, depending on the circumstances and timing, rejection and refund, repair or replacement. 

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits your statutory consumer rights.

PRODUCT USE & CARE

Products should be used appropriately and in accordance with any instructions provided by Sporty Paws or the manufacturer.

Normal wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, inappropriate use, neglect or damage caused by unauthorised alterations or repairs are not manufacturing defects.

Dog-sport equipment should be checked regularly for signs of wear or damage and replaced when it is no longer safe or suitable for use.

WEBSITE INFORMATION

We may update, change or remove website content, products or services from time to time.

We cannot guarantee that the website will always be available or completely free from technical errors.
