PLEASE NOTE: All measurements should be taken close to the skin, except the back measurements. Your dog should be measured whilst in a standing position. If you are unsure on the accuracy of your measurement, try measuring it 3 times and then take an average. If you need any help, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Measurement 1 - Max Head Circumference (in cm):
This is the circumference of your dog's head at it's widest point.

Measurement 2 - Collar (in cm):
This is the circumference of your dog's neck at the point where their collar would normally sit, approximately halfway from the start of the neck behind ears to the base of neck.

Measurement 3 - Neck Circumference 1 (in cm):
This is the circumference of your dog's neck at the base, just in front of the shoulders. From the point at the top just in front of the shoulder blades (should be able to feel a slight hollow in the muscles), in a line following just in front of the shoulder blade down to point about 2 fingers width above the top of the breastbone and round back up the other side to the starting point. It's easiest to take this measurement on one side and then double it.(on the diagram: from S to N and back to S)

Measurement 4 - Neck Circumference 2 (in cm):
This is the circumference at the base of your dog's neck; from the point at the top just in front of the shoulder blades (should be able to feel a slight hollow in the muscles), in a line following the front of the shoulder blade down to the top of the breastbone and round back up the other side to the starting point. It's easiest to take this measurement on one side and then double it. (on the diagram: from S to B, then doubled)

Measurement 5 - Chest Circumference (in cm):
This is the circumference of your dog's chest at it's deepest point, normally just behind the front legs. (on the diagram: from C1 to C2 and back to C1)

Measurement 6 - Half Back Length (in cm):
This is the length of your dog's back from the point at the top just in front of the shoulder blades (should be able to feel a slight hollow in the muscles) to the point where you can feel the vertebrae change direction. This should be measured with the tape held horizontally above the dog's back, rather than following the curve of the back. (on the diagram: from S to C1)

Measurement 7 - Back Length (in cm):
This is the length of your dog's back; from the point at the top just in front of the shoulder blades (should be able to feel a slight hollow in the muscles) to the start of the tail. This should be measured with the tape held horizontally above the dog's back, rather than following the curve of the back. (on the diagram: from S to T)
