Sporty Paws is a specialist dog sports business for people who want more than equipment on a shelf.
We believe good advice comes from actually doing the sport. Our knowledge has been built over years of running dogs, competing, training and teaching – from local trails and club sessions to national and international events.
Whether you’re taking your first steps into canicross or looking for equipment for your next adventure, you’ll find practical advice shaped by real experience of dogs, equipment and the sports themselves.

Our experience spans canicross, bikejor/scooter and rigs, with years spent running and working dogs across different disciplines, distances and environments.
We’ve competed at national and international level, but we also know dog sport isn’t only about racing. Across the Sporty Paws team, we bring years of experience running dogs, teaching people how to get started, coaching dog-and-human teams, fitting equipment and supporting our own local canicross and bikejor community.
That gives us a perspective that’s difficult to get from a product catalogue alone: we understand how equipment actually behaves when there’s a dog pulling into it.

THE SPORTY PAWS STORY
Sporty Paws has been part of the UK dog sports community for years, originally founded by Keith and later developed by Danni.
In 2026, the business entered its next chapter under Jess and Jambo. Already Sporty Paws Head Instructors – with Jess having also developed the previous Sporty Paws e-learning – taking on the business meant building on a brand we already knew incredibly well. Today, Sporty Paws is supported by an experienced team of instructors who bring years of practical dog-sport knowledge to the business.
We’re now combining that heritage with our own extensive practical experience to develop Sporty Paws for its next generation of dogs and humans.
